A Host of New Features in Version 4

The release of Flowmation 4 brings together new functionality and higher levels of performance.

Some of the main changes to Flowmation in Version 4 are in the approval process.

It is now possible to create your own document statuses. So if you want a status to be "waiting for client" or "completed internal review" or "amends suggested" then it is possible to set this up with corresponding custom colours for background and text. This can really personalise your view of all the documents across all your projects.

Along with this is a whole new approval process, which makes approval faster than emailing a PDF. This is because you can select very quickly everyone on the project team, whether on the client side or internally, who needs to be included in the approval process, you can decide who is going to be kept up to date on comments and annotation, see pervious versions and other associated project documents. This is a very slick process and can save huge amounts of time; in particular for account handlers or managers who can be some of the most expensive members of an agency.

Some of the other key new features include:

• >> You can see previews of documents across all projects in both tile and list views
• >> When copying a project you can now choose to copy activities, documents, project information or project folders
• >> There are more advanced navigation options within the activities timeline including a new popup calendar
• >> The current day is highlighted on the activities timeline
• >> Selected items in the library are remembered between sessions (logout/login)
• >> Project ID is an optional column when customising the projects list
• >> Date custom fields within projects can be configured to default to the current date

In addition to all of this there are numerous small feature improvements and some major performance enhancements all adding up to a very comprehensive package.

However, here at Flowmation we are not sitting on our laurels and version 4.1 will be released by the end of March 2009 with even more new features and enhancements.
