Company History.
Silicon Systems was founded in June 1997. Initially as a pure reseller of IT solutions based around the control and centralisation of assets and providing quick routes into these, Silicon Systems were one of the first companies in the UK to recognise the growing importance of Digital Asset Management capabilities. Working with leading vendor Canto, they quickly established themselves as the pre-eminent supplier in the sector.
In June 2002, Silicon Systems created its Development Division in response to requests for customers to provide levels of functionality not then available with standard products. Recognising that the internet had changed the dynamic of the way software is provided, Silicon Systems' products are designed to be inherently web enabled and this has taken a further step forward in the latest generation of product, Flowmation, which is a full web solution right through from the administration levels up.
Silicon Systems is privately held by its management and is headquartered in the Thames Valley region, home of the UK's IT industry. Read our Company Vision.
